Mechanical clamp units

Mechanical clamp units work independently of external energy sources because development of the clamping force is purely mechanical. Due to their light weight and ease of use, these elements are very flexible to use in small to medium-sized presses.

Hydraulic clamp units

Their compact dimensions and flexible operation make hydraulic clamp units an ideal solution for semi or fully automatic die change on small and medium-size machines. They permit central operation and permanent clamping force monitoring and can be easily integrated in the machine control system. These clamp units offer significant economic advantages in retrofittings.

Elektromechanical clamp units

Electromechanical clamp units use electrical energy only during clamping and unclamping operations and for central monitoring of all functions. The clamping force is generated purely mechanically. Thanks to their suitability for a high range of clamping thicknesses, the use of these clamp units is particularly recommendable for dies with wide clamping thickness tolerances.

Flexible clamp units

Flexible clamp units are particularly suitable for clamping dies of different sizes. Each clamp unit can be selected or deselected by the machine control when single die stations remain empty. No adaption plates are required. This provides a high automation level and thus enables economical solutions for die clamping.

Slide lock systems

Slide lock systems for infinite locking of the press slide throughout the whole stroke range used during work in the die space or in the press. Unlocking under load also possible, electrical monitoring centralised operation.

Accessories

The lifters and consoles for changes on the press save time and reduce positioning force. The wide range of hydraulic accessories such as pump power packs and controls serves the operation of the clamping units independently of the machine hydraulics.
